As-Sabeel Academy presents the Enrichment Hour

Assalaamu Alaikum,

I am very happy to announce that in an effort to reach out to our community and to benefit all of our community's children, As-Sabeel Academy is organizing an after-school program entitled the "Enrichment Hour". The Enrichment Hour will be an opportunity for the children of our community to participate in various academic and artistic activities. I believe that this project is an important step in actively nourishing our children's development both academically and socially.

The Enrichment Hour provides children with a chance to socialize with other Muslim children while they do homework, improve their reading, receive tutoring, memorize Quran, or participate in arts and crafts. They will learn and develop new study skills and academic interests. During this hour, they will also develop important social skills. In general, children who participate in after-school programs behave better in school, have more mature social skills, and show more self-confidence as a result of the caring relationships they develop with staff and other students in the program.

The key to the success of the Enrichment Hour is in the participation of the Greenville Muslim community. We NEED volunteers who are willing to dedicate their time to this honorable project. The program is envisioned to run during the weekdays (Monday thru Thursday), starting at 3:15 PM.
