What is Salafiyyah?
Follows Quran & the Sunnah and Methodolgy of the Salaf(pious Predecessors)

The Pure and Authentic teachings of the Deen of Al Islam, in shaa
Allahu ta'alaa, upon the Qur'an and Authentic Sunnah of the Prophet
Muhammad (Sallallahu 'Alayhi was Sallam), upon the understanding of
As Salafus Salih (The Pious Predecessors).

Ad Da'watus Salafiyyah is The Call to the Way of Salaf. This leads
us to the question, "Who are the Salaf?"

The Salaf are those people that preceded us in Righteousness.

These people are the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad
(Sallallahu 'Alayhi was Sallam),

The Tabi'een, and the 'Attiba Tabi'een
(Radiyyallahu 'anhum 'ajmaa'een), and those 'Ulama that follow in
their way from the past (i.e., Sufyan ath Thawri, Muhammad ibn
Ma'een, Malik ibn Anas, Imaam Ahmad, and the like)

and present (i.e., al 'Allaamah 'Abdul'Azeez bin 'Abdullah ibn Baaz,
al 'Allaamah Muhammad Nasrud-Deen al Albaani, al 'Allaamah Muhammad
Salih al 'Uthaymeen, al 'Allamah Muqbil al Haadi al Waadi' and the
like).

Allah (Azza wa Jalla) says,

"You [true believers in Islamic Monotheism and the real followers of
the Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu 'Alayhi was Sallam) and his Sunnah
(legal ways, etc.)] are the best people ever raised up for mankind,
you enjoin Al-Ma'ruf (i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has
ordained) and forbid Al Munkar (polytheism, and disbelief and all
that Islam has forbidden). And you believe in Allah...."{Aali Imran
ayat 110}

Also He (tabaraka wa Ta'alaa) says,

"And the first to embrace Islam of the Muhaajiruun (those who
migrated from Makkah to Al Madinah) and the Ansaar (the citizens of
Al Madinah who helped and gave aid to the Muhaajiruun) and also those
who followed them exactly ( in Faith). 'Allah is well-pleased with
them and they are well-pleased with Him.' He has prepared for them
Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever,
that is the supreme success." {At Tawbah 100}

And He Subhana wa Ta'alaa says,

"And whoever contradicts and opposes the Messenger (Muhammad
{Sallallahu 'Alayhi was Sallam}) after the right path has been shown
clearly to him, and follows other than the way of the believers. We
shall keep him in the path he has chosen, and burn him in Hell - what
an evil destination." {An Nisa'a ayat 115}

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alayhi wa Sallam) said,

"The best of generations is my generation, and then the one after
that, and then the one after that. Then there will be a generation
that will be fat." {Bukhari}

and Rasuulullahi (Sallallahu 'Alayhi was Sallam) said,

"Revile not my Companions.' By the One in Whose hands is my life,
were one of you to spend in sadaqah an amount of gold equal to Mount
Uhud, he would not acquire the reward that a Companion gets for
spending in sadaqah [the amount] of a mud (A mud is approx.1 kg.)."
(Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Abu Dawood & at Tirmithi)

Thus from these Ayah of Qur'an and these Authentic Ahadeeth, we see
the merit and virtue that Allahu, 'Azza wa Jalla, gives to As Salaf-
us -Salih.
