An extremely beneficial tele-link lecture conducted by Muwahhideen Publications in Tobago, Trinidad & Tobago on Thursday 1st March, 2012 with Shaykh Abu 'Umar Usamah al-'Utaybi  (May Allaah preserve him) as part of the February 2012 Anti-Carnival Seminar entitled, "The Methodology of The Men Who Changed The World". The lecture was translated live into English by our brother Abu Hakeem Bilaal Ahmad Davis.

Our Shaykh Abu 'Umar Usamah al-'Utaybi (May Allaah preserve him) enumerated eight points of advice in detail with evidences from The Quraan and Sunnah, for the Muslims in their obligation of calling to Allaah Subhana wa Ta'alaa. In summary, these points are:

 

1.      The caller to Allaah must know that dawah (the call to Allaah and His religion of Islaam) is ibaadah (Worship), that has pillars and conditions to be fulfilled.

2.      His Dawah (the call to Allaah and His religion of Islaam) must be in accordance to the following of The Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam).

3.      The caller to Allaah must learn, study and act upon the deen (the religion of Islaam).

4.      The caller to Allaah must be an excellent example to the people.

5.      He must adorn himself and be acquainted with sabr (patience).

6.      He must know that the highest station belongs to the Prophets and then the ulamah (scholars) after them. 

7.      The caller to Allaah must be hakeem (wise) in his dawah (the call to Allaah and His religion of Islaam).

8.      He must pay utmost attention and give precedence to himself, his family and relatives, his neighbours, and the people of his land and surroundings.
